Slurry tanks are not only used to transport slurry to its destination, but for storage as well. For this purpose, each slurry tank must meet certain requirements.

Slurry

Slurry can cause contamination of the groundwater. Because of this, slurry tanks that are used for storage must be set up on a collecting tray wherever possible to prevent slurry from entering the groundwater in too large quantities when there is a leak. Slurry tanks used on meadows and fields which are carried by agricultural machines usually have spray nozzles for spreading the slurry and so that there isn’t too much of it in certain spots.
