Fruit juice tank
Fruit juices have been one of the world’s favourite drinks for years. With options like apple, orange, banana and multivitamin, –there’s something for everybody.
Fruit juice is an established term as per the definition set by the Fruit Juice Ordinance (“Fruchtsaftverordnung”) whereby the fruit content must be at least 100 percent. Fruit juice does not contain any artificial colours or preservatives. Both fruit nectar and fruit juice spritzers have a fruit content of at least 25-50 percent. Fruit juice drinks without CO2 only need to have six to 30 percent fruit content.
Production
To produce fruit juice, the fruits must first be harvested, washed and chopped up. After being chopped up, they’re pressed and centrifuged. The liquid produced by this is pasteurised and decanted as apple juice directly or processed into apple juice concentrate.
The juice must be stored for a short period of time during production and particularly prior to being decanted. This is done using fruit juice tanks. These are foodstuff tanks that can be cooled or heated as needed.
