Containers differ from conventional tanks in a few significant ways. They’re often structured like a cube, that is, square or rectangular. This makes containers better at utilising their filling area and allows them to be stacked more easily. Furthermore, many containers differ from tanks in terms of size.
Containers that are cylindrical in shape are not as common but, thanks to certain equipment, can stack similar to their square and rectangular counterparts.
They can be seen in the food industry as well as the chemical industry.

Metal containers
This type of container is generally made of stainless steel and can transport or store hazardous goods for long periods of time thanks to its stable and secure structure. However, these containers need to be inspected regularly. Many of these containers stand on metal feet which allow them to be easily stacked and provide good support. Generally, these containers have a capacity of 500 to 1000/1500 litres
IB containers
IBC is the abbreviation for intermediate bulk container. These containers are generally used for transporting and storing liquid or very fine dry substances. They usually consist of a plastic tank and a cage. The entire container stands on a fixed pallet which can be moved with a forklift or pallet trolley. The plastic tank is blown from a single piece so that there are no joints for crevices or holes to form at.
